We are at the lookout of a talented Veterinary Manager to join us in launching our convenient tool for pet owners - online chats and video consultations. KeepPet provide pet owners with easy and instant access to qualified veterinary advice and consultation via mobile app.
The primary job function of the veterinary manager is to manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of KeepPet services in the designated area by directing all operational aspects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a KeepPet mobile service vet expert: share expertise with mobile shift vets within the company to help in difficult and controversial issues;
- Communicate with clients on topics such as advices and recommendations about treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs while all shift vet team are busy;
- Assist Management and Marketing team to hire the right employees - shift vets. Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit;
- Monitor key call and chats performance indicators to ensure shift vets are meeting expectations;
- Coaching/mentoring – support members of shift vet team with problem solving and skills development to aid learning and early problem resolution;
- Together with relevant experts within the company, build veterinary partnerships with external partners as well as working to identify development opportunities for the development of the mobile veterinary medicines for the company;
- Work closely with Management and Marketing teams in the development of KeepPet services;
- Managing reports and necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine;
- CVMA or similar certification is required;
- Energetic, creative and self starter, able to prioritize tasks, simultaneously work on different projects and effectively work within the team;
- Excellent communication skills with team members and clients;
- Working knowledge of and interest in the business aspect of a mobile veterinary practice;
- Willingness to perform management responsibilities;
- Fluency in English is a must, additional language is a plus;
- Interest in new technologies, startups, IT is a plus.
